accabi Healthcare Services provides comprehensive and wide-ranging medical care to 25% of Israelis. More than 1.9 million members benefit from high medical standards and the best quality service, which have attracted 600,000 new members over the past decade. Maccabi has expanded its basket of medications and offers many drugs and treatments not mandated by the State. More than 4,800 doctors, mostly experienced senior specialists in their fields, in both primary and secondary care, are available to Maccabi members.

Maccabi is proud of its “Mega Lab” which carries out completely automated laboratory tests, with ISO 9002 certification.
Research & Academia: The Maccabi Institute for Health Services Research promotes research activities at Maccabi by funding research, cooperating with researchers in Israel and abroad and is awarded research grants from international bodies including the EU and US. Maccabi’s Public Health Department is affiliated with Tel Aviv University’s Medical Faculty School of Public Health, which integrates Maccabi’s staff in academic activities, research, teaching and mentoring students.

Gold Shield Health Services: For a monthly fee, “Maccabi Gold Shield” provides services beyond those mandated by the State including participation in private surgery costs in Israel and abroad, organ transplants abroad, drugs not included in the health basket, private consultation with specialists in Israel and abroad, medical equipment, partial reimbursement for pregnancy tests, discounts on dental care, child development treatment, and many more benefits. About 86% of Maccabi’s members carry this supplementary insurance.
Maccabi LTC: Long term care insurance for Maccabi members through “Clal Health” is the leading LTC insurance for health fund members. This group plan includes inpatient nursing care or home nursing care with four coverage options for members and their families, with no reduction in benefits for new older members.
Assuta Medical Centers Ltd.: Israel’s leading private health services, operates four hospitals in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Rishon LeZion and Beer Sheva, and is a model for high standard health service in the Israeli health system. In addition to extensive surgical activity, Assuta operates advanced imaging clinics and specialized cardiac, sleep, fertility, oncology, dialysis, and pain clinics, MRI and mammography units and more.
Assuta was selected to build and operate the public hospital in Ashdod – the largest health system project undertaken in recent years.
Maccabi Fund: The Fund focuses on members’ welfare with1.5 million members eligible for services in accordance with regulations and the Maccabi Fund bill of rights and obligations.

Maccabi Natural: A chain of nationwide complementary health clinics, unique in offering full and close medical supervision. Services are provided only after consultation with a physician. A wide range of complementary medical treatments by leading, experienced therapists, including acupuncture, Tui Na, chiropractic/manual therapy; shiatsu, reflexology, etc. is offered.
