Shikun & Binui’s new home in “Airport City” has been constructed in line with the Group’s commitment to sustainability and in accordance with the American Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design method. Great consideration was given to the quality of life of the employees and to the implementation of innovations in green construction. The Company’s new home has been awarded the LEED-GOLD ranking and is the first in the country to be awarded the LEED ranking for internal design and construction.
Shikun & Binui – Concessions – Specializes in the development and construction of PPP (Public Private Partnership) projects in Israel and overseas, in construction, desalination, water and energy. The combination of its unique finance, planning performance and operational abilities enables Shikun & Binui to successfully provide complex long term infrastructure, maintenance and operations ahead of schedule and within budgets. Projects include: Highway 6 (“Trans-Israel Highway”); Carmel Tunnels; Hadera Water Desalination Plant, Israel Police Training Center, maintenance of the northern roadways and more.
Shikun & Binui – S.B.I. Infrastructures Ltd. (SBI) – The Group’s international infrastructure arm operates as both initiator and contractor and implements turnkey projects around the world. The company’s abilities include roadwork and building bridges, water and sewage, telecommunications, hydroelectric power plants, strip mining and factories.
Shikun & Binui Solel Boneh – Infrastructures – The Group’s domestic implementation arm specializes in complex, civil engineering projects and is partner to PFI, BOT and PPP projects throughout the country, leading the nation’s green construction.
Shikun & Binui Real Estate – Since its founding in 1956 as Shikun Ovdim, Israel’s largest construction company has been a partner in building the nation. Shikun & Binui Real Estate attributes great importance to environmental development, to provide a comprehensive solution for a sustainable life style and was the first to build in accordance with the Israeli Standard for Green Design and Construction (Standard 5281). The Standards Institution of Israel recently awarded its certificate of excellence for green construction to the company in recognition of its project in the Kiryat Hasharon neighborhood of Netanya. The Company also develops and markets space designated for office/commercial/leisure usage.
Shikun & Binui Real Estate Development – The international real estate arm of the Group currently operates in Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Romania and Poland, in all sectors of real estate development: residential, offices and commercial centers. Shikun & Binui – Renewable Energy – The Group’s energy division focuses primarily on the production of electricity from renewable energy. Shikun & Binui operates electricity-producing facilities in Israel and overseas, including photovoltaic power plants and initiates, develops, designs and builds electricity-producing power plants based on solar energy.
Shikun & Binui – Water – The Group’s water arm which implements innovative and advanced technologies developed worldwide and in Israel to solve water quality problems both domestically and globally. The company has built and operates12 purification plants and operates in accordance with Israeli and international standards.
