Main Fields of Specialization
Project Finance: The firm is involved in various enterprises, among them the Cross-Israel Highway; Jerusalem Light Railway System; Tel Aviv Mass Transit System; desalination water projects; a natural gas pipeline across Israel; development of student dormitories; and the largest underground parking facility in Israel.
Real Estate and Hotels: The firm represents several of the largest real estate and construction projects in the country – many residential, commercial, high-tech and industrial projects. The firm has well-known expertise in hotel development and management deals throughout Israel, and represents numerous hotel owners and developers and major national and international hotel companies located in Eilat, Mitzpe Ramon, Tel Aviv, the Dead Sea, Tiberias, Jerusalem and other cities.
Banking and Finance: The firm provides services to banking institutions, on a case-by-case basis, on matters ranging from legal opinions on various banking matters to negotiations of complicated project finance and other financial facilities, conducting the due diligence process for banks and other lending institutions, and serving as receivers and liquidators in bankruptcy cases, etc. The firm rendered all legal services for the transformation of the fifth largest mortgage bank in Israel to a new commercial bank, including the drafting of an entire platform of forms and agreements required for the operation of a commercial bank in Israel, and obtaining various necessary licenses from the Bank of Israel. Likewise, the office has issued municipal bonds and sold bank debts to the institutional investors system.
Construction: The firm handles legal services for various construction enterprises, and leading development and construction companies.
Environment: The firm renders legal services to the Ministry of Environmental Affairs, the Water Commissioner’s Office and the Lake Kinneret Authority, and serves as the legal counsel for the Israel Nature Reserves and National Parks Authority.
Government Business: The firm represents the Government of Israel on various matters, among them the sale of real estate owned by the State after its increase in value through zoning changes, the preparation of a tender for a Digital Radio in Israel, the privatization of several Government companies, the development of a large parking facility in Jerusalem, protecting the Dead Sea shores and more.
Insolvency: The firm has developed special expertise in corporate recovery and insolvency cases. Members of the firm serve simultaneously as receivers and/or liquidators and “recovery managers” for four companies in financial difficulties.
High-Tech: The firm is involved in the high-tech industry in Israel and provides legal services to high-tech companies both locally and internationally. The firm has been involved in the establishment and legal representation of technological incubators in Israel. Mr. Raveh serves as President of one of the largest high-tech groups of investors (“angels”) in start-up companies. The group has successfully invested seed money in many high-tech companies.
