Criteria
D&B’s “strength” ranking is an adjusted ranking, which takes into account four different financial parameters. The ranking represents the 100 “strongest” companies in Israel for which the required financial data are available to make the necessary adjustments.
The parameters used for the adjustment are:
equity, net profit, operating income and market value. The rankings are compiled by evaluating each company by each of the parameters. The adjusted ranking is made up of the relative ranking of each company, according to each of the parameters. Each parameter carries a weight of 25% in the adjusted ranking. In the event that a company has no market value, each parameter carries a weight of 33.3%.
It should be emphasized that this ranking includes only those companies for which financial information is available, and does not include large private companies, which are not prepared to reveal their data though they appear in other rankings in the yearbook.
